Developed a little app on Yahoo Pipes that brings up my last week worth of del.icio.us posts. Used to use the del.icio.us utility that allowed for automatic daily posts, but it quickly turned out that the autopost was writing most of my entries. Now once a week I can review the links that I have seen fit to save.
So here goes, my first weekly del.icio.us review:
Dammit, should have re-read before posting.
Yep, been busy this week writing snarky comments on FARK.
Seems like most of the people here missed the obvious Python reference.
And more FARKing going on. Used to live near to where this all went down.
Many tutorials
Sometimes it’s hard to find good Blender tutorials.
I like bookmarking stuff to read later about increasing productivity. Once I get over my procrastination I may actually read it.
How to utilize small interior spaces
Hey, I’m an apartment dweller, need to know this kind of stuff.
This is another one of those future type projects. But finally I have found a good, concise explanation of how to go about this.
Some tools for finding information online.
The kind of stuff you might want to know if you are a PI.
Something like this modified for people use would be interesting.
I’m interested in building a system that would be inconspicuous that could take a picture every 30 seconds or so as a way to log what I do through the day.
Need to check out this showreel.
Small utility for adding tagging data to files.
Tried this out this week. Not really what I wanted though. The initial setup took way too long. But I still need some way to organize my files better than what I have going on now.
2×2 grid with importance and difficulty for deciding what to do.
This sort of thing is kind of obvious and natural, but helpful for making decisions.
Software that can be used to add tagging data to photos.
Some cool designs for lamps. Might be a good source for texture.
The original link to this described it as “Steampunk”. I’m having a bit of a personal backlash against the concept of steampunk right now, so I almost hate linking to it. However these lamps are really pretty cool. In some ways I might think of them as Art Deco instead.
Adds extra motion to an object in Blender.
One of the problems I have with Blender animations is that the camerawork is way to smooth to be anything but CGI. I’ve been looking for a way to add some noise to camera movements to give a more natural feel.
Some of these look OK. Maybe for ideas.
Kind of like the bastard child of a skateboard and a unicycle
