Circular Escalator
After seeing this picture on Flickr:
I decided to see if I could model the bastard child of an escalator and a circular staircase:

Bluetooth enabled hearing aid
Free idea for anyone who wants it.
My girlfriend uses hearing aids. She also buys Nokia cell phones, because they have the loudest speakers, and sets it to the highest volume. When she receives a call off comes a hearing aid.
How about manufacturing hearing aids with a bluetooth connection? Might draw a little more power, but batteries are getting better all the time.
And a secondary idea for bluetooth headsets: Come up with a standard for a visible indicator. Maybe a red light means that you are on the phone, and a blue light is for listening to music. I’ve had too many awkward moments initiating a conversation with someone who is zoned out on bluetooth.

Just happened to note that I am pushing 1000 entries on my del.icio.us account. Del.icio.us is one of the most valuable tools that I’ve found on the intarwebs in the last couple of years.
NOTE: future project: now that I have so many links in del.icio.us, I need to set up some sort of system that will select one at random every so often so that I can confirm it’s still useful and add to its tags. Maybe someone out there already has something like this?
